Bankruptcy – Chapter 7 & 13

If you have recently filed bankruptcy or are currently in the bankruptcy process, you are not alone.  Each year millions of Americans; including tens of thousands of Arizonans, file bankruptcy.  At FastLoans.com, we realize that filing bankruptcy is the first step toward rebuilding your credit.  Often, the purchase of a new or used vehicle becomes the cornerstone of the credit rebuilding process.  Our trained loan professionals are ready to assist you with your vehicle purchase and financing, no matter where you are in the bankruptcy process.

Often retaining your current vehicle makes the most sense during a bankruptcy settlement.  However, there are circumstances that might make the purchase of a new vehicle a better choice.  Below you will find a list of information that you might find useful with regard to bankruptcy.

•             Reaffirmation agreements can be rescinded after signing for 60 days, but only before discharge.

•             Reaffirmation is not the only option!  Even with pending bankruptcy, current vehicles may be surrendered, and financing may be available for a new or late model vehicle.

•             Payments made under a reaffirmation agreement may not be reported to the credit bureaus.

•             A vehicle can be purchased while a bankruptcy case is pending. It does not have to be discharged for financing.

•             It is possible for you to surrender your current vehicle and get a newer car, truck, van or SUV with fewer miles and the same payment!
